ST VALLIER joined the Bristol Suburban League in the 2021-22 season, winning the Division Two title at the first attempt. The following season they won the Division One title, going through the season unbeaten, and they’ve done it again this season by winning the Senior Division title.

They are 10 points clear at the top with one game to play, against promotion-chasing Mendip Broadwalk Reserves. Last Saturday, they travelled to Easton Cowboys Reserves and won 7-0, thanks to strikes from Jordan Evans (2), Jaiden Holver (2), Keith Kearney, Callum Cannings and Rakeem Brady.

Second place is being contested by Mendip Broadwalk Reserves, Jamaica Bell and Filton Athletic Reserves.

In the derby at Norton Lane, hosts Hengrove Athletic Reserves lost 2-0 to Hartcliffe FC. Stockwood Wanderers Reserves travelled to South Liberty Lane and beat Parson Street OB 5-2.

In the Premier Division, leaders Filton Athletic need a point to clinch the title and a Gloucestershire County League play-off.

Southmead CS Athletic edged out Lawrence Weston Athletic 2-1 at Kingsweston.

Third-placed Bristol Spartak travelled to North Road to play Stoke Gifford United Reserves and goals from Brad Jones and Jay Selway gave them a 2-0 victory.

Sam Moss completed a hat-trick for Redbridge in a 7-4 win against Rockleaze Rangers Reserves, with the other goals from Enes Ozturk (2), Sam Preston and Harry Dyer.

Easton Cowboys warmed up for the Alf Bosley Cup final with a 3-1 home win over St Aldhelms.

Three points separate the top three teams in Division One. Leaders Little Stoke Reserves only have one game left after they won 5-0 at AFC Bohemia to open a threepoint lead at the top.

Second-placed Rockleaze Rangers A have three games left after they travelled to Somerdale and beat Redbridge Reserves 5-1.

Avonmouth Reserves, in third place, had a 4-0 win in the Norman Goulding Cup final at Cossham Street against Broad Plain House Reserves last Wednesday.

Promotion will go to the last day because Broad Plain House Reserves have seven games to play and a good set of results will see them as champions. They won 2-1 at home to Bromley Heath United Reserves, thanks to strikes from Archie Gough and Dom Robinson.

Joel Edwards completed a hattrick for Old Cothamians Reserves in a 3-2 win against Cosmos FC at Coombe Dingle.

Jari Clemmings and Oliver Hatwell bagged braces to help Cadbury Heath Reserves to an 8-1 win at home to Bristol Phoenix Reserves. Darrel Nikolovski, Dan Kingston, Dave Pike and Brad Boyce completed the scoring, with Louis Goodwin scoring for Phoenix.

In Division Two, Hanham Abbitonians Reserves raced into a 4-0 lead at home to FC Union Bristol, with goals from Jamie Jones (3) and Zak Giles, but in a spirited fightback FC Union nearly chaimed a point before going down 4-3. Daryl Cox, Nick Potter and Tim David scored for FC Union.

Red Falcons lost their 100 per cent record in midweek, going down to long-time leaders Socius United, but are favourites with games in hand to win the title.
