Churchyards and trees
What an excellent report by Andrew Richardson on the relics of St Eanswythe (May/Jun 2020/172). Finding Eanswythe, a larger venture initiated by Canterbury Christ Church University, was a project partner which set out to record the Folkestone church and its surroundings. This included a digital recording of headstones and inscriptions in the graveyards and a tree survey, involving local archaeologists, historians and other interested people. This is hoped to be an ongoing project, as always depending on funding.
