Results see Burton staying seven clear

Albion remained seven points clear of the League One drop zone despite Saturday’s defeat as only Swindon Town of the six clubs below the Brewers won.

Swindon were 2-0 victors away to Fleetwood Town to climb off the bottom of the table and out of the relegation places, with only two points separating those six clubs.

Scott Twine scored twice for the Robins.

Rochdale are back on the bottom after an extraordin­ary 3-3 draw at home to Peterborou­gh United in which they overturned a two-goal deficit, then conceded a stoppageti­me equaliser.

Peterborou­gh raced ahead with an early strike from Siriki Dembele and doubled their advantage through Sammie Szmodics in firsthalf stoppage time.

Stephen Humphrys pulled one back from the penalty spot after 55 minutes, then goals in the 87th and 90th minutes from Jake Beesley and Jimmy Keohane put them in front before Jonson Clarke-harris netted a penalty to equalise.
