Latest figures show Covid-19 cases are continuing to fall

-

ACROSS most of the country cases of coronavirus are now dropping as the vaccine is rolled out and lockdown has had the desired result.

As the vaccine is being rolled out and people are staying at home as they stick to restrictions, the cases are starting to reflect the sacrifices that everyone has made.

And some areas are seeing hardly any cases as coronavirus is now classed as being “suppressed” in these places.

In Staffordshire and Derbyshire, some areas have fewer than three cases, which means the Public Health England website does not give out the data for these places to protect the identity of individuals involved.

Public Health England publishes a colour coded map showing the rate of cases for each area. This can be viewed at https://coronavirus.data. gov.uk/details/interactive-map
