TV PICKS OF THE WEEK
I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE Tonight, BBC1, 7.20pm
Based on the hit South Korean entertainment series, this new music game show features contestants trying to guess who can and can’t carry a tune from a group of mystery singers. If they choose correctly, big cash prizes are heading their way.
They’ll be given clues by host Paddy Mcguinness, and there will be lip sync performances and pointers from ‘celebrity investigators’ Amanda Holden, Alison Hammond and Jimmy Carr.
After eliminating singers, they will proceed to the ‘stage of truth’. At the end of the show, the winning mystery singer is revealed as good or bad via a duet with a guest artist – this week it’s Mcfly guitarist Danny Jones.
