Make some noise to help raise funds

-

TO celebrate their 20th birthday in July, local music charity Make Some Noise is set to launch a Crowdfunding campaign Song for Wellbeing on Friday May 14 to support young people following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-trent.

Make Some Noise is a dedicated music charity run by a small expert team bringing highquality, vibrant music opportunities to communities across Staffordshire and Stokeon-trent.

During its 20 years, Make Some Noise has delivered over 120 free community music projects across deprived areas, engaging more than 50,000 children, young people and families.

Groups include children in care, with special needs and disabilities and children who have poor access to music activities.

Partnering with organisations including Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-trent City Council, Tamworth Arts & Events and Stafford Music Festival, Make Some Noise strives through their work to reduce isolation, build confidence, skills and increase wellbeing.

This is particularly relevant in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic when mental health and wellbeing needs are at an all-time high.

Make Some Noise are creating the Song for Wellbeing crowdfunding campaign to help support local young people as they recover from lockdown and celebrate their talent.

You can support the campaign using the website www. crowdfunder.co.uk/song-forwellbeing
