Quickly out of his goal to save at the feet of Ilias Chair shortly before half-time. There were times he needed to speed up his distributon in the second half.

Put in a crucial challenge on Ilias Chair as Rangers pressed for a second goal. Good, steady performance from the right-back.

PHIL JAGIELKA 6

He and centre-back partner Curtis Davies were given plenty to think about by Rangers’ forward play, especially in the second period.

He and Phil Jagielka were put under more pressure in the second half.

Had a good old tussle wth Albert Adomah, who provided a threat from Rangers’ right.

Impressed, plugged away, put in some big challenges in midfield.

LIAM THOMPSON 7.5

The 19-year-old followed his eye-catching performances against Bournemouth and Fulham with another. He has delivered three hugely encouraging displays since coming into the team.

GRAEME SHINNIE 7

Excellent first half, seemed to cover every blade of grass and what a pass for Tom Lawrence’s goal – pinpoint accuracy. Found it more difficult in the second half.

JASON KNIGHT 6

Never stopped working for the team, more involved in the first half than the second half.

TOM LAWRENCE 7.5

Pick that out of the net! The Wales international latched on to Graeme Shinnie’s defencesplitting pass to rifle an unstoppable rising shot past Seny Dieng. Did not always make the best of some good positions, but he was Derby’s main threat.

RAVEL MORRISON 6

Some good moments in the first half but faded in the second.
