Builder unveils completed play area at new Burton housing estate

YOUNGSTERS at a housing development in Burton can now enjoy a brand new play area which was recently unveiled by a housebuilder.

The highly-anticipated facility at David Wilson Homes’ Drakelow Park development has given children at the now-sold-out Walton Road community something to look forward to and they are now free to have fun at the new play area which features a slide, swings and climbing apparatus.

Ben Derbyshire, contracts manager, and Daniel Hickson, assistant site manager (pictured) were on hand to mark the official completion of the play area to ensure it was ready for the younger residents at Drakelow Park.

The Local Equipped Area of Play (LEAP), located off Galloway Road, is specifically designed to include equipment for children who are beginning to go out and play independently close to where they live.
