The company will cover the areas of Burton, Derby, South Derbyshire and East Staffordshire with its office based at Curzon House in Curzon Street, Burton.

Mishelle Fanuncio, training manager and director at Multi-care Community Services, said: “The principal objective is to provide competent, capable and suitably trained care workers to enable service users to have sufficient support to remain safely in their own home. “In order to meet these criteria, all our care staff are provided with training that meets the national skills for care standards.”

The services the firm provides include:

■ Assistance with personal hygiene including bathing and hair washing, continence management and assistance with mobility,

■ Assistance with maintaining hydration and nutrition including cooking and meal preparation.

■ Medication supervision, palliative care, re-ablement, support with social interaction and household management including shopping and cleaning.

Mishelle Fanuncio added: “We chose to set up a domiciliary care business because everyone should have the right to choose where they want to be cared for, as long as it is beneficial for them and their needs are still being met.

“We will care for them the same way that we will care for our family because as a company we still believe that the best care is homecare.

“Our family has always worked in the health and social care sector. We have seen how the care industry has evolved with time.

“As a company, we want to play a part in revolutionising how care is being delivered at home as well as providing services that are tailored to the needs of the client. We also strongly believe on having a robust workforce which can be done by giving our staff adequate training and helping them to gain more knowledge and understanding about care.

“At the moment, we currently have 12 employees but we are still in the process of recruiting more staff.”

Other key members of staff in the business include Marc Francisco as chief executive and Venus Diaz as registered manager.
