Mum and daughter cats and a smart rabbit in need of homes
DEVOTED mum and daughter cats are among residents at an animal shelter hoping to find new homes.
Tilly and daughter Biscuit have been at the RSPCA’S Hillfield House shelter in Stretton for six weeks, but so far no one has shown any interest in them.
Tilly is a striking tabby and Biscuit is black. The pair are described as “inseparable”, and the RSPCA says they need to be rehomed together.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “Tilly and Biscuit are a very beautiful mother and daughter duo. The pair are inseparable and rely on the comfort of one another, therefore they must be rehomed together.
“They’re a quieter pair of cats that take to sleeping for the most part of the day over playing or exercising, and so will need a home where they can sprawl out and relax. Despite their quiet nature they’re a very loving pair that enjoy a fuss.
“They have had no interest from anyone, which we are baffled by because they are such sweethearts and just need somewhere to feel safe and secure.”
The animal home also has a rabbit that would love to find a home.
Kitkat, an eight-month-old female Lionhead rabbit, came into the RSPCA’S
care with another female (Wispa) due to the previous owners being unable to cope in July. Experienced owners are needed to take her on.
The RSPCA said Kitkat was “smart and energetic”, but also had an independent streak that meant she doesn’t like to be forced into interaction with humans, but has to come to them on her own terms.
