AGE CYMRU: Gwynedd a Môn supported by BT have again joined forced with Ysgol Sir Hugh Owen to provide free IT classes for older people in the Caernarfon area. Year 11 students are available between 3.30pm-4.30pm every Tues at the school to give one to one informal tutorials for older people, on the use of a computer or tablet irrespecti­ve of their knowledge or ability. CONCERT: On Sunday, June 19, the Lakewood Area Choral Society from Michigan USA will give a concert in St Mary’s Church, Caernarfon in aid of British Heart Foundation (BHF) Cymru. The concert starts at 7.30pm. It will be the American choir’s only performanc­e in Wales. The event is hosted by Côr Meibion Caernarfon, who will also perform at the concert. All profits go to British Heart Foundation Cymru to boost their research work. Tickets at £5 can be obtained from BHF Cymru local branch members, members of Côr Meibion Caernarfon and at the door on the evening of the concert.
