When you donate any items in the collection trolleys in ASDA and CO-OP Pwllhei stores please can you make sure of the following: All items are non-perishable (the trolleys are only emptied once a week and so any perishable goods may be ‘off’ before being received.) Every item is well in date - the Foodbank is not allowed to distribute out-of-date food to customers. All out-of-date items are immediatel­y thrown away. The Foodbank is grateful for packets or tins of food and any toiletry and cleaning items. ST JOSEPH’S: The Annual Summer Fair for the Parish of the Most Holy Redeemer and St Joseph, Porthmadog and Pwllheli, will be held after Mass on Sunday, August 14 at St Joseph’s Church Hall, Pwllheli. Refreshmen­ts and a barbecue lunch available, and stalls include tombola, raffles, cakes, gifts, silent auction and games for the children.
