CYMDEITHAS ARCHAEOLEG BRO FFESTINIOG ARCHAEOLOG­ICAL SOCIETY: The first meeting after the summer break will take place on Thursday, September 22. Dr Ian Brooks will give a talk on “The Archaeolog­y of the Antur Stiniog Downhill Tracks” The venue will be the Day Centre of the Ganolfan, Blaenau Ffestiniog. Admission will be free for members and £2 for non-members. Tea and coffee will be served at 7pm prior to the talk at 7:30pm.

POST OFFICE MOVE: The Post Office is proposing to move Blaenau Ffestiniog Post Office to Eurospar, New Market Square, is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the move in a six-week public consultati­on. During the public consultati­on, Post Office Ltd welcomes feedback on any issues customers would like considered before a final decision is taken on this proposal. The consultati­on will close on October 28.
