June Lloyd Rice: Alana, Rhosgadfan. Died at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor on September 16 aged 78 years. The Funeral was held on September 23 at 1.30pm. The service was held at Horeb Chapel, Rhostryfan. The service was officiated by Rev Gwenda Richards. The bearers were: Ray (brother), Paul, Mick, John, Chris, Ali. Principal mourners were: Clifford and Karen (son and daughter-inlaw), Anna and Aled (grandchild­ren), Ray and Val (brother and sister-in-law), Ray (friend), Floral tributes were by: Cliff and Karen; Anna and Aled; Ray and Val; Ray; Dean, Linda, Llion, Cerian, Jamie; Cath, Eirian, Glenda, John, Rhiannon; Laura and Jan; Mari. Refreshmen­ts were provided at Mountain Rangers Sports and Social Club, Rhosgadfan. The funeral arrangemen­ts were by Roberts and Owen, Birmingham House, Pen-y-groes.

RHOSHIRWAE­N

BRITISH LEGION: The Rhoshirwae­n British Legion branch is one of the oldest in Wales. It was establishe­d in 1922, four years after the end of the First World War in 1918. New members do not need to be ex- service men or women. The branch hopes to continue to its centenary in 2022.
