BANC BWYD PWLLHELI FOODBANK: After a fairly busy month in February, the Food Bankgave out a total of 32 packs, 19 to single people/couples, 13 to families. It had a very successful Bore Coffi on February 25, which raised £512.03. The Foodbank currently has plenty of clothes and bedding in stock, so at present is not accepting any of these items. If anyone has a small tent that is no longer needed (one/two persons) it would be very pleased to take it, as they are very useful to anyone who is street homeless. Always grateful for donations of non-perishable food items which are well in date - they can be put in the trolley in ASDA Pwllheli or brought to St Peters Church (Tues and Fri, between 1.30 and 3pm).

PWLLHELI EVENING WI: monthly meeting was held on March 7 when President Elinor Rhys Williams welcomed the speakers Caryl and Gavin Owen of Ty Siocled, Palace Street, Caernarfon who gave a talk on the history and workings of their chocolate business, supplement­ed by samples and purchasing opportunit­ies.The vote of thanks was proposed by Wendy Blackwell. The tea hostesses were Ann and Helen Owen and the raffle was won by Betty Coles.
