Consistent pair commit to the Cofis next term
CAERNARFON Town have announced that Joe Williams and Alex Ramsay have both signed contracts to stay at The Oval for the 2017/18 season.
Canaries manager Iwan Williams could not hide his delight at having secured the services of two of the club’s most consistent performers so early in his plans for next term.

“Alex Ramsay has been a stand-out performer since he joined the club.
“He’s been a revelation and has rapidly become a favourite amongst the fans.
“His attitude and professionalism is second to none and I believe he’s one of the best, if not the best, in the Welsh Pyramid. “Alex brings a calmness to our defence who love playing in front of him and his distribution is a fantastic asset to have.
“For him to commit so early in preparation for next season shows how committed he is to this football club and how much he’s enjoyed his time with us thus far.”
The boss added: “Joe Williams has been by my side for four of the last five years.
“Having captained him at Llandudno and now managed him for two years here at Caernarfon, Joe has been one of the most consistent performers around.
“His dedication and commitment to do well is testament to him and if I had one criticism of him, it would be for the fact that he moans a lot in training!
“However, that’s partially because he wants everything done right and that’s why I’m delighted that he’s agreed to commit early on for another year. I think it’s clear to the fans also that Joe has undoubtedly become Caernarfon Town through and through. When we first spoke about tying him up for the forthcoming season his words were, ‘the only way I’d leave, is if I wasn’t wanted’, and that says a lot about Joe Williams as a person.
“You cannot buy attitude and professionalism and Joe and Alex have that in abundance.”
