Margery sets moth traps every summer night in order to record any visitors for national information, all creatures are released unharmed the following morning. The competition was won be Marg Woodcock.Next meeting is on 6th June, the AGM will be followed by a plant swap and prizes will be given to winners of the lucky programme holder and the member with highest competition points. NEFYN AND DISTRICT LADIES CLUB: Gareth Williams and Jason Williams of the Welsh Ambulance Services First Responders gave a very interesting and informative talk about their work, particularly of the teams of volunteers of which there are several on Llyn. They showed equipment which the volunteers carry and are trained to use. They explained that often the Responder is the first on scene and can give CPR which can be vital in saving a person’s life. They showed members how to perform CPR and gave a demonstration of a Defibrillator. Next meeting, May 25, David Pitcher on Bee Keeping.
