Margery sets moth traps every summer night in order to record any visitors for national informatio­n, all creatures are released unharmed the following morning. It was as informativ­e and most enjoyable evening. The competitio­n was won be Marg Woodcock.Next meeting is on 6th June, the AGM will be followed by a plant swap and prizes will be given to winners of the lucky programme holder and the member with highest competitio­n points. This will be followed by a buffet supper provided by the members. All new members and visitors always welcome.

Twm Elias will lead a Nature Walk to places of interest in the area on Saturday, May 20 starting from Nebo school at 2.30pm. AGM Nebo & Nasareth Area Committee will be held at Nebo School Community Room on Thurday, June 15 at 7:30pm. Come & support the committee’s work in the area. The annual Duck Race will be hel on Wednesday, July 19 at Pont Esther followed by the Potato weighing competitio­n at Nebo playground. Sad to hear of the death of Sally Ann Atkinson, Glanrafon, Pont Lloc, sympathies to the family and her friends. Congratula­tions to Gareth & Kelly, 5 Rhos Dulyn on the birth of their daughter, ISla Mai, little sister to Cameron and Cari. AGE WELL NEFYN: Age Well Nefyn choir are having a concert on Wed June 28 at the ganolfan Nefyn. Tickets are available @£2. New members are very welcome to join the choir. The bus starts out from Llŷn to arrive at Ysbyty Gwynedd convenient for visiting time 1.30pm-2.30pm. It will pick up from the villages around Llŷn. NEFYN AND DISTRICT LADIES CLUB: Gareth Williams and Jason Williams of the Welsh Ambulance Services First Responders gave a very interestin­g and informativ­e talk about their work, particular­ly of the teams of volunteers of which there are several on Llyn. They showed equipment which the volunteers carry and are trained to use. They explained that often the Responder is the first on scene and can give CPR which can be vital in saving a person’s life. They showed members how to perform CPR and gave a demonstrat­ion of a Defibrilla­tor. Next meeting, May 25, David Pitcher on Bee Keeping.
