● Jazz Carlin, who represents Wales and the Great Britain swimming team, has officially opened Splashaway Bay; a brand new swimming complex at Haven’s Hafan Y Môr Holiday Park in Pwllheli, North Wales. The launch party, was a celebration for the whole community, with Plaid Cymru candidate for Gwynedd, Liz Saville Roberts, local councillors and a number of local residents in attendance. Haven has invested £3m over the winter months to fully redevelop the swimming pool complex. This is part of a massive £5.5m reinvestment in the North Wales holiday park for 2017. Jazz said: “I’ve not seen a facility like Hafan Y Môr before. It’s an incredible pool which caters for all different age groups. It was great to see so many kids enjoying being in the pool and being comfortable around water. I loved meeting everyone and would like to thank Haven for giving me the chance to officially open such a great facility.” The refurbished swimming pool complex, Splashaway Bay, hosts a brand new fresh design alongside an array of exciting family friendly water features. These include an exhilarating new flume slide, exciting wave machine, a fully fitted out children’s pool with fun features such as tipping buckets and new water slides together with a laned pool for committed swimmers. To top it all off guests can enjoy a new Milly’s coffee and cookie bar.
