COMMUNITY WEBSITE: The Community Council intends to establish a community website which will include details of the work of the Community Council but will also have space for other information such as local history, forthcoming events, etc. Anyone with ideas regarding the site are welcome to contact the Clerk (01286 660141). ST BEUNO’S CHURCH: Ascension Day Thursday May 25, 7pm Beginning of wave of Prayer ‘Thy Kingdom Come’. Sunday May 28, 11am English Holy Communion. The Church is open every day, where you will find an exhibition telling of its history. COMMUNITY COUNCIL: Cemetery Wall:A useful meeting was held with representatives of Gwynedd Council and the contractor regarding the repair of the cemetery wall. It is anticipated that work on the wall will commence during the summer. The Community Council would like to publicly thank those persons who have contributed anonymously towards the cost of the repair work – we are very grateful for your support. Public footpaths: It was also decided to review the Council’s policy regarding the maintenance of public footpaths, with the intention of reducing costs, especially as the grant from Gwynedd towards the cost of this work has been much reduced. Drama Thomas Parry “Llywelyn Fawr” oedd dan sylw a chafwyd trafodaeth fywiog trwy ei chymharu â “Siwan” Saunders Lewis a gyhoeddwyd ar yr un testun bedair blynedd yn ddiweddarach. Am 7 nos Wener, Mai 26, traddodir Darlith Flynyddol Utgorn Cymru gan Adam Price, AC, Dinefwr, ar y testun “Cymru – Trefedigaeth gyntaf Lloegr, a’r olaf.” Llywyddir gan Liz Saville Roberts, AS.
