PWLLHELI enjoy a 15-point lead at the First Division summit after a 12-3 success at Mold brought the Llyn side a sixth win in a row.

After choosing to bat first, Pwll rattled up 210-5 in a match reduced to 33 overs per side due to the weather.

Opener Chris Moore kept up his fine form by striking 98 off 92 deliveries, his knock including 13 fours.

Morgan Murray-Williams added 57 from 62 balls, slamming nine fours and a six as he played his part in a second-wicket stand of 151 with Moore.

John Crane scooped 2-36 for the home side.

In reply, Mold gave it a good go but were bowled out for 171, Usman Butt doing best with 67, while Duane Williams added 43.

Sean Reilly returned the best figures for the visitors, snaring 3-22 off four overs.

Murray-Williams did well with the new ball, grabbing 3-24 from eight overs.

Moore completed a good match with 2-30.

In their six victories, Pwllheli have amassed 86 points out of a possible 90, four of their wins being 15-0 maximums.

The Llyn men will look to make it a magnificent seven this Saturday when they make the trip to the Wrexham area to face Gwersyllt Park.

Gwersyllt are lying fifth in the table and on their best form are capable of giving Pwll a good test.

The Park are in winning nick, having defeated Llay Welfare by just nine runs last weekend.
