YNYS CYNHAEARN CHURCH: The old church of Ynys Cynhaearn, Pentrefelin will be open from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday June 25. This was once the parish church for the area of Tre’r Gest including Porthmadog and Tremadog and has a fascinating history. The church is situated in a glorious setting about half a mile from the main road in Pentrefelin and the road to it is almost opposite the telephone kiosk. If the weather is fine it is well worth walking as the scenery is magnificent. There is limited parking at the church and there is easy disabled access as no steps are involved. A warm welcome is extended to everyone.
