Ar­rest over ‘flash­ing in­ci­dent’

PO­LICE are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion after a man al­legedly flashed at a woman on a busi­ness park.

A man from Conwy was ar­rested fol­low­ing the al­leged in­ci­dent, which is said to have hap­pened in Lland­wrog near Caernar­fon.

The woman told of­fi­cers she was walk­ing near Lland­wrog Busi­ness Park at 12.30pm on Mon­day, June 19 when she was tar­geted.

She says a man was sit­ting in a sil­ver Peu­geot van when the al­leged in­ci­dent took place.

PC Kate Wil­liams, in­ves­ti­gat­ing of­fi­cer at Caernar­fon po­lice sta­tion, said: “Shortly be­fore 12.30pm on Mon­day, June 19 a man ex­posed him­self to a lady walk­ing in the vicin­ity of the Lland­wrog Busi­ness Park on the out­skirts of Caernar­fon.

“At the time he was seated in a sil­ver Peu­geot van and as a re­sult of our en­quiries we ar­rested a man aged in his early 60s from the Conwy area the fol­low­ing day.

“He has since been re­leased un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion as our en­quiriese con­tinue.

“We are ap­peal­ing forf any­one who was in thet area at time and can as­sist our in­ves­ti­ga­tion to con­tact po­lice.”
