Top pair keep up great form
FRONT-RUNNERS Arfon Ladies and Menai Bridge continued their winning form in the Gwynedd and Anglesey Netball League last week.
Arfon maintained their 100% record with a 33-21 success over Penygroes Primos.
Primos won the opener 8-7, and by half time it was 12-apiece.
Arfon took the third 10-6 and the last 11-3 to wrap up what was eventually a convincing victory.

Menai Bridge dominated against Menai Mavericks, chalking up a 42-27 triumph.
The champions scored heavily in each quarter, netting 8, 11, 12 and 11 goals respectively.

Penygroes Ladies recorded a pleasing 24-15 win against Arfon Celts.
Pen took the first just 6-4, but were 12-6 in front by midway and remained in command.

Pwllheli were in hot scoring form when they took on Holyhead.
The Llyn side notched 12, 8, 10 and 7 goals over the four quarters in a 37-14 thrashing.

Tim o Walis kept their title quest on the boil in Division Two with a 34-4 caning of Valley Vixens.
Walis set the tone after scoring 12 goals in the first quarter to their opponents’ two.
The Anglesey side failed to register a goal in the final two sessions.

Subway Warriors came up against Holyhead Juniors.
Caergybi edged the first 4-3, but by halfway, the Warriors were 8-5 ahead.
Subway had a strong third quarter, winning it 9-4 to set up a victory platform.
And the last ended 5-4 to the Warriors, who won 22-13 overall.

Two other matches in Division Two did not go ahead.
North West Wildcats forfeited against Porthmadog and Red Sox conceded their scheduled encounter versus Menai Thunder.
