GCSE RESULTS AND REPORT
PUPILS at Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen are celebrating another year of excellent results. Hardworking students deserve all their success and recognition, and tribute goes to each and every one of them, and thanks go to all staff, parents and governors for all their hard work and support.

Headteacher at Ysgol Dyffryn Ogwen, Bethesda, Alun Llwyd, said that he was happy with the school’s GCSE results again this year, and that students and teachers had coped very well with the increasing demands of the new qualifications.
Congratulations went to pupils at Ysgol y Moelwyn, Blaenau Ffestiniog, on gaining excellent results this summer.
The headteacher, Mr Dewi Lake, said: “On the one hand, these results show the hard work, diligence and enthusiasm of the pupils during the year. They also confirm the high teaching standards and professional dedication of the teaching staff at the school. The pupils and staff alike have worked diligently to ensure these results. Congratulations to all on their success.”
Ysgol Ardudwy, Harlech, is once again celebrating very good GCSE results. There have been many excellent individual performances, with the top three pupils amassing an amazing 31 A*/A grades between them – Cadi Roberts, of Harlech 9A*/3A; Dalton Foster, of Llanbedr 2A*/9A and Katie Hixson, of Llanbedr 3A*/7A.
Headteacher Tudur Williams said: “I wish to congratulate all the pupils on their achievements which is a result of dedication to their studies and to thank all their teachers for their guidance and hard work in ensuring their pupils’ success.”
