YOUTH CLUB: Bontnewydd Youth Club lead­ers John and Maria of­fer a warm wel­come to the young peo­ple of Bontnewydd and sur­round­ing vil­lages to par­tic­i­pate in the club’s ac­tiv­i­ties. The club is open ev­ery Tuesday from 7-9pm and open to stu­dents from Year Seven up­wards. Ac­tiv­i­ties sched­uled this year in­clude trips out of the club to par­tic­i­pate in Ice skat­ing, In­door Climb­ing, Ten Pin Bowl­ing, trips to the cin­ema. Also a range of ac­tiv­i­ties of­fered within the club in­clud­ing pool, ta­ble ten­nis, cook­ery, box­ing punch bag and game con­soles. Mem­bers will also be given the op­por­tu­nity to achieve the NICAS in­door climb­ing Level 1 climb­ing cer­tifi­cate.
