STRAWBERRY TEA: On Saturday, July 29 Dawn Dawson held a strawberry tea in aid og Breast Cancer Cymru at Ysgol Beddgelert. Highlights of the strawberry tea included home-made cakes and strawberries as well as a raffle and cake stall. Dawn said “I was delighted at the turnout for this year’s strawberry tea. We had a beautiful day and the event was held outside. The amazing total came to £2,390. I would like to thank everyone who baked, donated and helped on the day, and to all who donated money and raffle prizes. This was my 7th strawberry tea, and people’s kindness has been amazing. I also want to thank Stephen Chapman, originally from Beddgelert who is an actor and has appeared in many TV dramas, who kindly opened the tea party for me.” Dawn has raised over £12,000 over the years for this worthy cause.
