Pwll­heli WI held their Septem­ber meet­ing on the 3rd at Ala Road Chapel Vestry when Vice Pres­i­dent Daphne Jones, in the Pres­i­dent’s ab­sence due to her in­dis­po­si­tion af­ter her fall, wel­comed the speaker Tammy Barma who gave a talk on her danc­ing ca­reer. The vote of thanks was given by Mau­reen Jones and the tea hostesses were Mau­reen Jones and Janet Owen. The raf­fle, do­nated by Sylvia Wil­liams was won by Eir­wen Grif­fith. The next meet­ing will be at 7pm on Oc­to­ber 3 at the Ala Road Chapel Vestry when Ffion Jones of ‘Pwyll Pistyll’ will give a talk and dis­play of her crafts. GORWEL/HORI­ZON WALK­ING GROUP: Next Wed­nes­day Septem­ber 20 there will be a walk from Llanbedrog to Pwll­heli (back by bus) start­ing at 11am from Llanbedrog Na­tional Trust car park.
