Pwllheli WI held their September meeting on the 3rd at Ala Road Chapel Vestry when Vice President Daphne Jones, in the President’s absence due to her indisposit­ion after her fall, welcomed the speaker Tammy Barma who gave a talk on her dancing career. The vote of thanks was given by Maureen Jones and the tea hostesses were Maureen Jones and Janet Owen. The raffle, donated by Sylvia Williams was won by Eirwen Griffith. The next meeting will be at 7pm on October 3 at the Ala Road Chapel Vestry when Ffion Jones of ‘Pwyll Pistyll’ will give a talk and display of her crafts. GORWEL/HORIZON WALKING GROUP: Next Wednesday September 20 there will be a walk from Llanbedrog to Pwllheli (back by bus) starting at 11am from Llanbedrog National Trust car park.
