RUN TO THE HILLS

-

HUNDREDS of runners are pictured at the start of the Snowdonia Marathon in Llanberis on Saturday. The gruelling race, seen as one of the toughest in the UK and even Europe, was won by Daniel Jones in two hours and 36 minutes. The women’s race winner was Hayley Munn at two hours and 57 minutes.

The inaugural Snowdonia Marathon was held in 1982 as an alternative to the numerous city-based marathons.
