PWLL­HELI beat Pen­rhyn­deu­draeth 6-5 in a Welsh Al­liance Cook­son Cup stormer at Maes-yParc.

Pen­rhyn led 5-3 at one stage through a Jack Jones hat-trick, plus goals from Sion Aron Roberts and Car­wyn Price.

How­ever, Pwll­heli re­fused to give in and sealed it with three Dy­lan Sion Jones penal­ties, Mark Jones (2) and To­mos Lly­we­lyn Jones pro­vided the win­ner.

Af­ter 11 win­less at­tempts in the league, Llandyrnog United got off the mark in the Cook­son Cup, beat­ing Llan­beris 2-0 thanks to a Luke Ap­pleby dou­ble.

In Welsh Al­liance Di­vi­sion Two, Nedw Cl­wyd bagged a tre­ble and Sam Jones a dou­ble as Llan­nefydd turned on the goal power in the sec­ond half to sweep aside Blae­nau Ama­teurs 8-2.

Y Felin­heli breezed to a 4-0 re­sult at Mochdre Sports. Gruff John, Car­wyn Dafydd and Iwan Jones (2) shar­ing the spoils.
