RGC aim to make a point by finishing the year on high
RGC head to Bridgend this Saturday knowing victory will cap off an unforgettable year with them top of the Principality Premiership West table.
During 2017, the Gogs not only reached the Premiership play-off semi-finals at the first attempt, but also lifted the WRU National Cup for the first time in their short history. And Mark Jones’ side are ending the year on a real high, sitting at the pinnacle of Premier West after 10 wins in 13 matches ahead of Saturday’s visit to the Brewery Field.
RGC are three points ahead of nearest challengers Carmarthen Quins, who face a tough trip to third-place Llandovery this Saturday.
The Gogs know a win will guarantee them top spot and peak position is assured if they match or better Carmarthen’s result.
Bridgend are third from bottom, but lost just 18-17 at Colwyn Bay in October. RGC league results 2017/18 season
