Council now want your views on five-year plan
CREATING jobs, tidying up, and improving broadband and mobile phone coverage are priorities suggested for Gwynedd’s next five-year plan.
Everybody in the county is being asked to take part in a consultation which ends on January 5 by filling in a questionnaire.
In his introduction to “What’s important to you”, Identifying Priorities for the Gwynedd Council Plan 2018-2023”, leader Dyfrig Siencyn said they wanted “to put the people of Gwynedd at the centre of everything we do.”
The council wants people to tell them what their priorities are both on county and local levels.
Some county-wide suggestions which have already come from the councillors include: Supporting families, transforming schools, additional learning needs, recruiting head teachers, redesigning care services, work against poverty, keep benefits local, create better jobs and provide better homes.
