CLWB Y FELIN: The next meeting of Clwb y Felin will take place on Thursday, March 8 at 2pm in y Ganolfan Pentrefeli­n, when the guest speaker will be Naomi Jones from Snowdon National Park. Come along and enjoy listening to her, with tea or coffee afterwards. The clwb is open to all seniors of 55 years or older, it has been in existence since 1982, when it soon built up to nearly 60 members including both sexes, but now is down to about 20, so could do with a boost. BANC BWYD PWLLHELI FOODBANK: The Coffee Morning which was cancelled on March 3 due to the bad weather will be help on Saturday March 10, between 10.30am and noon. Come along for a cuppa and enjoy the stalls - cakes, tombolas and raffle. The Foodbank gave out 40 parcels in February - 8 to families, 32 to singles and couples. There is a lot of hardship locally, especially in the bitter weather. A huge thank you to Pwllheli Rotary Club who gave us a cheque recently. If you wish to make a donation, there is a basket in ASDA for nonperisha­ble food items.
