HE FLEW BLIND INTO CLOUD AND CRASHED INTO ROCKS

THE Bangor U3A meets at 10.30am on Thursdays in Capel Berea Newydd, Bangor (between Ffordd Penrhos and St David’s Retail Park).

This is for people who are retired from work or parenting, to develop interests and activities with others and share in organising them.

On March 15, by Bill Warrel, Head Gardener at Plas Newydd and Penrhyn Castle, will talk about the past, present and future of the gardens. THE Arfon Branch of the North Wales Wildlife Trust will visit Pwllheli Harbour on Saturday March 17, to view the Herons nesting near Pont Solomon.

Meet in the free car park at the west end of Lon Cob Bach (GR SH 371 346) at 10.30am. This will be followed by a walk round the Harbour to see wading birds on the exposed mud. Bring lunch or visit a local café.
