Meeting in Boatyard, Garth Rd, Bangor oat 12.15 on the first Wednesday of every month. Also meeting for coffee once a month at 11am at the Cricket Pavilion Llandegai. This is a social group covering Anglesey, Bangor, Caernarfon and Llyn, set up for widowed people to enjoy life again in the company of other widowed people who understand. We have gentlemen and lady members. As a guide it is suggested people aged 50-70 will get the most from membership of our group as we aim to be active, out and about. At the moment it meets regularly in Bangor and Caernarfon and has also met up for gentle walks, opera, ballet, gigs, cinema, a meal, pub quiz and weekends away. YOUTH CLUB: Bontnewydd Youth Club leaders John and Maria offer a warm welcome to the young people of Bontnewydd and surrounding villages to participate in the club’s activities. The club is open every Tuesday from 7-9pm and open to students from Year Seven upwards. Activities scheduled this year include trips out of the club to participate in Ice skating, Indoor Climbing, Ten Pin Bowling, trips to the cinema. Also a range of activities offered within the club including pool, table tennis, cookery, boxing punch bag and game consoles.
