BANGOR U3A: Meet 10.30am Thursday in Capel Berea Newydd,Bangor (between Ffordd Penrhos & St.David’s Retail Park). For people who are retired from work or parenting. Develop interests and activities with others and share in organising them. New members welcome Come early after 9.30am for a chat and stay for the event. WIDOWERS AND WIDOWS: This is a social group covering Anglesey, Bangor, Caernarfon and Llyn. It was set up for widowed people to enjoy life again in the company of other widowed people who understand. As a guide it suggests people aged 50-70 will get the most from membership of our group as the group aim to be active, out and about. At the moment it meets regularly in Bangor and Caernarfon and also meet up weekly for walks, and go to opera, ballet, gigs, cinema, a meal, pub quiz and weekends away.
