Williams takes the hot seat

LLANRUG United have announced long-serving player David Noel Williams is the new first team manager.

He replaces Mark Jat, who decided to step down due to promotion and increased work commitment­s within the fire service.

Affectiona­tely known as Charlie, Williams joined Llanrug in August 2006, having previously played for Caernarfon Town, Porthmadog, Glantraeth, Llangefni Town and Bethesda Athletic.

Next season will be his 13th in a row for a club where he has made 413 appearance­s and scored 165 goals.

Williams said: “I am delighted and very proud to have the opportunit­y to be manager of Llanrug United.”
