Williams takes the hot seat

LLANRUG United have announced long-serving player David Noel Williams is the new first team manager.

He replaces Mark Jat, who decided to step down due to promotion and increased work commitments within the fire service.

Affectionately known as Charlie, Williams joined Llanrug in August 2006, having previously played for Caernarfon Town, Porthmadog, Glantraeth, Llangefni Town and Bethesda Athletic.

Next season will be his 13th in a row for a club where he has made 413 appearances and scored 165 goals.

Williams said: “I am delighted and very proud to have the opportunity to be manager of Llanrug United.”
