Business visit is not hard cheese
● IT’S a tough job but someone’s got to do it: Gwynedd Council members and officers were asked to taste and grade a selection of cheeses during a study visit to South Caernarfon Creameries. A council delegation toured the dairy co-op’s new cheese production and packing facility at Chwilog, Pwllheli. They learned more about SCC’s future plans, including the relaunch of its Dragon cheeses. Managing director Alan Wyn-Jones told his visitors the creamery had “ambitious growth plans both domestically and internationally”.
