O DDRWS I DDRWS: runs a bus service from Llŷn to Ysbyty Gwynedd every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for £1 each way. The bus starts out from Llŷn to arrive at Ysbyty Gwynedd convenient for visiting time 1.30pm-2.30pm. It will pick up from the villages around Llŷn. DROP-IN MINDFULNES­S SESSIONS: Lunchtime drop-in mindfulnes­s practice sessions open to all, from complete beginners to people who wish to keep their practice topped up. Ideal for anyone who wishes to get a taste of mindfulnes­s. Held at the Doctor’s surgery (Ty Doctor), Nefyn, every 2 weeks on a Tuesday from 1-2pm. It is fine to come for the first half hour only. NEFYN PENSIONERS CLUB: A meeting was held on Tuesday, July 3 with Mrs B W Jones in the chair .Mrs Jones welcomed members and sent best wishes to those unable to attend .She expressed sympathy with Mrs M Hughes Jones and family on the death of her daughter-in-law .Best wishes for a speedy recovery were sent to Mrs K Croker. Dr Daniel Evans was welcomed by Mrs Jones he gave an illustrate­d talk on a recent visit to Myanmar sailing up the Irrawaddy river and arriving at Mandalay .Dr Evans was thanked by Mrs Jean Cocker for a very enjoyable afternoon .The mystery trip will be on July 10.The next meeting will be on September 4 after the summer break .

NEFYN AND DISTRICT CLUB: The first meeting after the summer break is on Thursday September 27, 7.45 for 8pm. The Christmas Dinner is booked for Thursday December 6.
