Market Hall to host special seasonal event for dogs:
A CHRISTMAS party especially for dogs is taking place in North Wales next month.
Dubbed the Tails and Tinsel Christmas Pawty, this festive celebration is only for pet pooches and their humans.
The Market Hall in Caernarfon will be decked out for the occasion, which is thought to be the first of its kind in the region.
Guests will be greeted with doggy mulled wine and beer on arrival.
Canine companions will get to party away with others and even meet Santa Paws and have their photo taken.
They will also given a doggy bag of treats to take home with them.
The event is being hosted by Dog Furiendly – a Welsh online organisation which highlights places people can go where their dog will be welcomed.
North Wales ‘pack leader’ Emma Hughes is hoping this will be the first of many dog-centered events in the area.
She will be there on the day with her three-year-old dachshund Seth.
She said: “Seth is my first dog. When I first got him, I signed up to loads of online groups, but found there was very little in North Wales.
“I started North Wales Dachshunds and it sort of snowballed from there.
“There’s definitely a market for this sort of thing up in North Wales.
“The last community walk we had, 50 people and their Picture: dogs came along.”
The Tails and Tinsel Christmas Pawty is at the Market Hall in Caernarfon on Sunday, December 9 from 1pm till 6pm. Tickets cost £10 with one dog per person. Extra dogs are £3 each and tickets for humans only are £5 each.
