The Centre provides and offers a wide range of leisure activities board games, pool, darts and dominoes, Also have an Arts and Craft group every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10.30am-3pm. Ti a Fi Pwllheli has been run voluntaril­y for 8yrs+ and without voluntary support this provision would not exist. A big thank you to them! A NUMBER of local Merched y Wawr branches have been busy recently collecting litter. Their initiative is part of the President’s Project to collect 6,000 bags of litter throughout Wales by the end of the year

– a bag for each member. The aim is to help prevent longterm damage to the environmen­t.

Some of the local Merched y Wawr branches who took part recently were: Penrhosgar­nedd, Caernarfon, Nefyn, Pwllheli, Harlech, Deiniolen and Dinas Mawddwy.

Rhiannon James, a member of the Caernarfon branch, said: “We’ve been out a number of times recently and have collected 31 bags and recycled 17 of these. We are keen to draw attention to the litter problem, whilst also inspiring others to look after their own local patch so others can follow their example.”
