SINGING FOR FUN: Lleisiau’r Byd World Voices is a friendly and informal community choir. Meets every Wednesday in term-time 7.30-9.30 in the Jerusalem Hall, Cricieth. £5 a session, with first one free. The choir sings songs in a variety of styles and languages in glorious harmony. CLWB TENIS CRICCIETH: Tennis Club is a Lawn Tennis Associatio­n Registered Venue offering tennis facilities for pay to play, coaching for all ages and abilities, beginners and improvers coaching for both members and non members. RNLI: The Criccieth RNLI shop and Boathouse will now be open from 11am-5pm each day (unless the weather is particular­ly awful!). The shop has now been refurbishe­d, but the welcome you will receive is still the same - and obviously every purchase you make will help to keep our crew afloat, and you and your family safe on or beside the sea. ST AELHAEARN: The annual Harvest Thanksgivi­ng service took place on Sunday led by Canon Peter James. The readers were Lisbeth James and Sianelen Pleming. Canon James thanked everyone who had decorated the church and brought flowers or produce. All the produce will be taken to Tan y Marian, Pwllheli. The sidesmen were Helen Williams Ellis and Lynda Cox and the organist was Sianelen Pleming. Last week a meeting of church members took place with the vicar, Rev Lloyd Jones chairing. The ongoing problem of the cemetery and the arrangemen­ts for the Christmas services were discussed.
