LLANNOR/EFAILNEWYD­D W I: met on November 11 @ the Sports Club, after the business section of the meeting Diana welcomed the speaker Simon Harris from Flipside Jewellery in Abersoch. Simon had been in college for 4yrs studying jewellery design and working in his fathers jewellery shop in Frodsham, when he decided to come to Abersoch & teach Wind Surfing, during the winter when it was quiet he started making & selling jewellery. Then in 1998 he opened Flipside. He particular­ly likes to work with silver and had brought along a selection of beautiful samples of his work. Jackie thanked him for an interestin­g talk. competitio­n winners were 1st Doris, 2nd Margaret, 3rd Dilys. Raffle winners Jackie & Pat. Tea Hostesses Margaret & Pam.

KNITTING AND SEWING GUILD: Is a group of ladies who knit babies to adults jumpers and toys and many sewn items too.
