CYLCH TI A FI: A warm welcome to parents, childminde­rs, babies and toddlers to the weekly session at Penisarwau­n Community School Hall every Monday 1.30 until 3pm. Activities and special visitors every month.

Christmas Services: Sunday, December 15, 11am Carols, readings and Communion. Sunday, December 22, 11am Holy Communion. Christmas Eve, December 24, 11am Crib Service all age service, 9pm Christmas candle lit communion service. December 29, 10am United Service of Holy Communion at St Helen’s Church.

Carols around the tree: At St Helen’s Church Penisarwau­n to the switching on of the outside Christmas tree lights, the lights will be switched on by Father Christmas. Inside the Church a large screen will be up with children from the Penisarwau­n, Llanrug and Bethel Community and Primary Schools singing Carols showing on it, light refreshmen­ts will be served. The night is free but any donations will be gratefully received

Open Church: Wednesday December 18 from 3pm-7pm. All are welcome to call in the Church to light a candle in the light of the Christmas tree in remembranc­e of the departed, sick, suffering, lonely, soldiers and their families, missing persons, homeless, poor, countries and their people in emergency or any other personal reasons, Popular Welsh Carols will be played in the background Free Tea or Coffee and a mince pie available.

Cemetery Fund: The following donations have been gratefully received towards the cemetery fund, £20 Mrs Megan Williams Bron Eryri Llanrug & £10 Mrs Eleanor Williams Afallon Llanrug.

Whist Drive: The weekly whist drive will be held at the Church hall on Tuesday, December 10, at 7pm

Cash Bingo: The weekly bingo will be held at the Church hall on Wed, December 11, door open at 7pm for a 7.15 start.

Gin Night: A very successful Gin tasting night was held at the Church hall on Friday November 8 from 7pm till 9.30pm the organisers wish to thank everyone fir their support a great evening was had with the live band Bwncath Diolch I bawb!

Tea toast: and a chat is held free at the Church hall every Monday from 9am till 11am all welcome.

DEUDRAETH CAMERA CLUB: Monday, Dec 9 at 7.30pm. Mary Griffiths Clarke will give a talk entitled ‘Documentar­y Photograph­y’. Mary is a fashion designer and her clients include The Guardian, Kew Gardens, Parliament and UN amongst many others. Mary will talk about how she works as a photograph­er; an insider’s view on approaches and inspiratio­ns – keeping your photograph­er’s eye switched on and observing and engaging in the everyday world. The meeting will take place at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Penrhyndeu­draeth. Entry costs £3 at the door, including light refreshmen­ts. NANTLLE VALE DOG TRAINING CLUB: Is a Kennel Club registered dog training club. The classes are held in the Memorial Hall Market Place. It runs puppy classes, obedience training, ring craft and a fun agility session. It also offers training for The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme ‘Puppy’ ‘Bronze’ Silver’ and ‘Gold’.
