BLOOD CANCER: If you or any of your family or friends are affected by lymphoma, myeloma, leukaemia or any other blood cancer, there is a support group that meets on the first Thursday of alternate months in Bangor from 7pm to 8.30pm at St David’s outpatient­s department, Ysbyty Gwynedd. As well as meeting others with similar experience­s, there will be speakers and informativ­e discussion and the kettle is always on. PUBLIC LECTURE: The future of our oceans will be the focus of a public lecture at Bangor University on Wednesday, March 4. The speaker is Jacqueline McGlade, Professor of Resilience and Sustainabl­e Developmen­t at University College London.
