CANOLFAN FELIN FACH: Provides a daily drop in service for anyone who needs company, support, help in filling forms and other informatio­n regarding Wellbeing. Anybody can call in without a prior appointmen­t and you are guaranteed a warm welcome. The Centre is open Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-3.30pm. The Centre provides and offers a wide arrange of leisure activities board games, pool, darts and dominoes. It also has an Arts and Craft group every Monday Wednesday and Friday 10.30am-3pm. Canolfan Felin Fach also has a facebook page so that you can follow and be updated with trips and other activities. PWLLHELI BLANKETEER­S: provides handmade blankets, hats, gloves and scarves on the Llyn to those who are in need of warmth. The blankets that we made last year are being given out steadily now. Donations of blankets or yarn can be left in the basket in St Peter’s Church, Pwllheli or you can call in on Tuesday or Friday noon-3pm.

GRACE MARY ROBERTS: Formerly of 4 Llys Madryn, Pwllheli. She died on January 27 at Ysybyty Gwynedd, Bangor aged 89 years. She was born in Pwllheli, moved to Scotland as a child and went to school there. She came back to Pwllheli where she met her husband Eric. She worked in Woolworths on the cosmetics counter, had her daughter Megan in 1960 and stayed at home to look after her in Rhyd y Clafdy. A few years later Grace workedin the fruit and veg shop for Mrs Mack. This is where a lot of people came to know her. She was a very popular lady and no matter where she went she would always see someone she knew. She liked to talk. The funeral was on Tuesday, February 11. The public service was at Penrhos Bethel chapel followed by interment at Chapel Cemetery, The service was officiated by the Ven Andrew Carroll Jones, The organist was Mr Griff T Owen. The tribute was by the family and Ifor Williams. Bearers were Gareth, Pete, James and Evan. Family mourners were Megan, Adrian and James Ashton, Gwenan, Peter and Evan Baines, Gareth Jones. Flowers were from Megan and Adraina, Gwenan, Pete and Evan, Gareth and James, Dorli Nauta. Funeral refreshmen­ts were at The Sun, Llanengan. Funeral arrangemen­ts were by G D Roberts and Son Lt, Chapel of Rest, Pwllheli.
