Matters arising from the previous minutes: • Work on village toilets completed. • Sygun Bridge: Clerk has re-contacted Gwynedd Council following a further complaint that the condition of the bridge remains slippery and that there is a 2/3 foot hole on the bridge. • D Hinde has rectified email problems, which means public can send emails to Clerk via link on website. Financial Position: Main account £3708.29/ Sub account £1913.44. Outgoings: FE Members’ Payment £150 / Andrew Roberts Landlord Certificat­e £71 / One Voice Membership Renewal £106 / Idris Lloyd Jones grass cutting on public footpaths £900 / Idris Lloyd Jones grass cutting in cemeteries £1980. Planning Applicatio­ns: NP2/11/LB148C - No objection. Correspond­ence • Urdd Gobaith Cymru: Letter of thanks. • Dewi Owen, Gwynedd Council: Beddgelert Public Footpaths. Officer is due to undergo surgery, therefore there may be delays regarding inspection of paths. Community Council will receive £697.90 for maintenanc­e of public footpaths in 2020/21. • Wales Air Ambulance for Children - Letter of thanks. • One Voice Wales: Opportunit­ies to fund green growth projects - Clerk to forward email to Alun Hughes and place details on village notice board / website. • Teenage Cancer Trust Cymru: Applicatio­n for financial assistance - Keep applicatio­n on file. Bulkeley • New tenancy commenced 24 February with a rental agreement of £550 per calendar month. • AT taken electricit­y reading Feb 24. Clerk to inform electricit­y company. • Examinatio­n of taped electrical box was carried out by Electricia­n. No concerns regarding the electric box. If Committee wishes electric box to be removed from property the work would need to be carried out by Scottish Power. • AT ordered new recycling boxes for tenant. • Clerk to order a mailbox (up to £20 and get refund next month. • Painting work outside property needs to be done once weather has improved and once regular rent is received. Any Other Business: • Kiosk Gwynant Street: AT contacted Openreach to inform them parts of the kiosk has flown away following strong winds. Clerk to contact Openreach. • Llys Bulkeley Dehumidifi­er: Clerk to place advert on website to inform residents that it can be hired for a small contributi­on. • A car has once again hit the wall above Llyn Glas between Aberglasly­n Bridge and Nantmor. Clerk to inform Highways Department. • Floods across road near lay-by between Bontfelin and Aberglasly­n. Signs there to inform drivers of flood, but as this is a regular problem Clerk to contact Highways Department with a request that they look at drainage. Date of Next Meeting: March 30 - 7.30pm.
