MEET THE OMBLES
THESE adorable new characters are joining Colin the Caterpillar and Percy Pig in M&S’s cake range.
Made using an exclusive luxury Belgian milk chocolate recipe, The Ombles all have cute chocolate goggly eyes and are rolled in a flaky milk chocolate.
They’re priced at £6 and a two-pack of ‘totes adorbs’ Mini Ombles is £5. Available in stores now.
CORONILLA GLAUCA
CORONILLA provides a rare splash of colour in February.
It’s an evergreen Mediterranean shrub with bright yellow pea-like flowers and attractive foliage that makes for a really uplifting winter wonder.
You can grow it as a shrub or train it as a climber against a wall, ideally a nice sunny sheltered spot away from cold drying winds.
It’s easy to manage, only growing to around six feet, and the fragrant flowers often reappear in late summer as well.
Hullabaloo snacks
HULLABALOO is a new brand of kids’ snacks created by mums, frustrated at the high-sugar content of many children’s treats.
After discovering that sweets aimed at kids can contain as much as 60% sugar, turning treat time into a crazed sugar rush, Hullabaloo’s founders were determined to make delicious snacks for the whole family (without the parent guilt) and came up with the caramel and rice crisps bars.
Created with chicory root fibre, they contain less than 5g of sugar per 25g bar. Plus they are tooth-friendly, and contain no artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.
Priced from £3.99 for a Caramel Rice Crispy Bar Discovery Box (3x25g), find the bars at makeahullabaloo.co.uk
