THE OBAN TIMES speed networking event takes place at the Argyllshire Gathering Halls on the last day of Argyll Enterprise Week – Friday November 4 from 1.30pm to 5pm.

The Oban Times group presents an excellent opportunity to meet, greet and learn about the wealth of skills, resources, products and facilities in your local area.

From sport to the creative sector, we welcome all industries to come along to this fun, exciting and effective networking event.

It’s a great way to mingle with other local business people in an environment that allows you to really shout (or talk!) about what you do.

How does it work? The event will involve up to 40 businesses each presenting for one minute to the whole room before everyone embarks on a one-minute, one-to-one chat on a rotational basis.

It sounds a wee bit daunting but it’s really not once you get into it. The key to making speed networking beneficial is to succinctly promote your offering and listen to others doing the same with the objective of developing credible, profitable business relationships thereafter. Tea or coffee and biscuits will be provided.
