Young farmers muck in at yearly fundraiser

£730 raised at annual coffee morning

THERE was no shortage of milk when Campbeltown Young Farmers Club (CYFC) kept up a steady flow of refreshments at its annual coffee morning.

The Guide Hall was packed with barely a table free for the two-hour event last Saturday, supported by side stalls including baking and a bottle stall.

Club treasurer Robert McDonald said that £729.85 was raised. CYFC’s next outing is a new members’ evening on Friday May 5 at the Argyll hotel.
