Springbank’s ace tennis donation

-

TENNIS club committee members have received a smashing cheque for £2,500 from Springbank Distillers.

The funds come as the club has almost reached its £60,000 target to reconstruct the clubhouse.

The new clubhouse will be slightly bigger than the current one with a large so- cial area, two changing rooms and two toilets, one of which will be wheelchair accessible. Entrances to both the clubhouse and courts will be improved with the aim being to make the courts accessible for all.

Money has been raised both in Kintyre and nationally with contributions from Tesco, Machrihanish Holiday Park, Sport Scotland, Tennis Scotland and Rotary funds.
